Snap Portraiture Class

I was happily surprised to see such a great turnout at the Portraiture class for Snap Orlando last Sunday. The group was diverse with people attending from as far as NYC. 2.5 hours pretty much flew by. We covered everything from film vs. digital, color balances, strobes vs. avail light and everything in-between. A special thanks to Julio for loaning us his amazing studio.

The show itself was a breath of fresh air. It feels like Orlando has finally gotten a slice of international culture. And all in the love of photography? It almost felt like I was dreaming walking through those vacant loft spaces with photography that spanned years and such amazing talent. For a minute I felt like I was in Dumbo.. :)

I'm already looking forward to next years show!

Really sad I missed this. I was working the event at The Exchange on Sunday. Glad to hear the turnout was great :-) The whole Snap! thing was so great for not just this market, but the whole South East. Was wonderful to see everyone coming together for the sake of photography!
