Masquerade Ball shoot at Aston Martin
When asked to shoot at the Aston Martin dealership I was instantly excited. I'm a huge fan of the Aston Martin DBR since the old James Bond movies and couldn't wait to see and hear the new DBR-9. I decided to shoot in the dealerships garage due to outside heat. I was amazed at how mint clean and organized the shop was, not to mention air conditioned. When I asked the head mechanic to move the 450 horsepower V12 around, he revved the engine and I must admit the sound was impressive.

Godamus Rhyme
This portrait shoot was originally intended for a music feature inside the Orlando Weekly and ended up on the cover! My original plan was to use available light but I ended up changing my mind last minute and brought 1 light with no attachment. We were lucky enough to shoot on the rooftop of news channel 13 downtown O town.
Here is what we came up with:

I'm proud to announce that I won best single original color photograph at this years Florida Magazine Association conference. The image is part of an editorial cover assignment I shot for Orlando magazine back in October 2008, titled – “Bright Lights, Big Pretty”.

Coming Around Full Circle…
A year ago the Cempella family was spending the day at SeaWorld, one of their 2 year old daughter’s favorite places.
Throughout the day they noticed that Tatum was covered with bruised from head to toe. They quickly brought her to the emergency room and from that day forward life was never the same. Tatum was diagnosed with Leukemia.
After fighting this illness for a year little Tat is finally in remission, back at SeaWorld and is the helping the Pediatric Cancer Foundation find a cure for childhood cancer.
Today I spent the day shooting stills for the upcoming Vanessa Welch Cure Kids Cancer Challenge 5k run / walk, being held at SeaWorld on Saturday, November 7th.

Doug Rhodehamel press shoot for Deep Blue
I was asked to photograph Doug Rhodehamel for his upcoming first solo art show that opens at Bold Hype Gallery this upcoming Friday.
Doug is best known for his Spore project, mushrooms made out of paper bags. If your not paying close attention it would be easy to mistake these paper bag creations for real mushrooms. Last I remember Doug had a huge colony installed at the lawn in front of the Orlando Science Center.
DEEP BLUE is an installation of scary hand crafted deep sea creatures of all shapes and sizes created completely from discarded cardboard. For information on the show, visit the web - Bold Hype Gallery
This is the image we managed to pull of in 95 degree weather.
