Last night I finally broke out my lens adapter plate and mounted it to my Nikon 17-35. This is a massive breakthrough for me as I'm a huge fan of Nikon glass but have recently adapted a curiosity for Canon DSLR video.
The plate allows me to mount any of my 2.8 glass to my (new) Canon 7d. Naturally you have to focus and set the aperture manually but who cares? I get to use my Nikon glass!
For now I'm practicing on Olivia whenever she allows me the opportunity. Video's to come..

Snap Portraiture Class
I was happily surprised to see such a great turnout at the Portraiture class for Snap Orlando last Sunday. The group was diverse with people attending from as far as NYC. 2.5 hours pretty much flew by. We covered everything from film vs. digital, color balances, strobes vs. avail light and everything in-between. A special thanks to Julio for loaning us his amazing studio.
The show itself was a breath of fresh air. It feels like Orlando has finally gotten a slice of international culture. And all in the love of photography? It almost felt like I was dreaming walking through those vacant loft spaces with photography that spanned years and such amazing talent. For a minute I felt like I was in Dumbo.. :)
I'm already looking forward to next years show!

iStudio
A few months back I had the awesome opportunity to work with the creative crew from sIx degrees. Not only are these guys cool calm and collected but they also let me set up studio in their office!
My assignment was to create a fun, yet clean image of a girl in several poses. Thus far iStudio is using one main image in their lobby and other various images for marketing.
Here are some results from the shoot:
